Answer :- Matter can be classified into 3 states
• Solide - In a solid, molecules are closely packed. That is why solids are rigid and have a definite shape. A solid substance also have a definite mass and volume.
• Liquid - Liquids are made up of loosely- packed molecules. A liquid has a definite mass and volume but it does not have any definite shape. Liquid are not rigid like solids.
• Gas - Gasses are made up of molecules which are far apart. They move about very quickly. Matter in its gaseous state does not have a definite shape.​
