Answer :

In the attachment .

Explanation :

➡ First draw a normal hexane with six carbon as hex means six.

➡ Then attach the hydrogen to each such that every carbon is satisfied with 4 covalent bonds.

➡ As shown in the figure , draw a normal hexane .

➡ Next thing is to cut out the carbon at the extreme end .

➡ Take that carbon to any other position other than the opposite end.

➡ This will form isomers of hexane.

➡ Note that there will be 5 isomers of hexane as the rotation can be done only 4 times and one isomer is normal hexane .

ISOMERS

➡Normal hexane .

➡ 2-methyl pentane .

➡ 3-methyl pentane .

➡ 2,3 -dimethyl butane

➡ 2,2 -dimethyl butane

IMPORTANT NOTE :

Why no 4 - methyl pentane ?

4-methyl pentane is the same as 3-methyl pentane .

Why no 5 - methyl pentane ?

5 - methyl pentane is the same as 2 - methyl pentane.
