ans 1=let the unknown number is X

a/q

3/4-x=3/8

(3-4x)/4=3/8

3-4x=3/8×4

3-4x=3/2

-4x=3/2-3

-4x=(3-6)/2

-4x=-3/2

X=-3/2×(-1/4)

X=3/8

ans 2=-48/42÷72/35

-48/42×35/72

8/15

Step-by-step explanation:

1)

let the no. be x

so

 \frac{3}{4}  - x =   \frac{3}{8}   \\ x =  \frac{3}{4}  -  \frac{3}{8} \\ x =  \frac{6}{8}   -  \frac{3}{8}  \\ x =  \frac{3}{8}

2 )

 \frac{ - 48}{42}  \div  \frac{72}{35}  \\  \frac{ - 48}{42}  \times  \frac{35}{72}  \\  \frac{-5}{9}

3)

let the no. be y

 \frac{3}{14}   \times y =  \frac{9}{16}  \\ y =  \frac{9}{16}  \times  \frac{14}{3 }  \\ y =  \frac{3}{8}  \times  \frac{7}{1 }  \\ y =  \frac{21}{8}
