Hey dude,

Who is the tutor?

I am a Dallas, Texas native, who is an experienced professional private tutor that works one-on-one with each client. With private tutoring help, the client/student/learner/future world-changer will improve in grammar, reading, reading comprehension, writing, literature, literature comprehension, proofreading skills, editing improvement, rhetoric and rhetorical techniques, and communication skills. I believe that reading and writing are not only life skills, but are also the foundation for every grade, major, job, vocation, or calling in life. I love to teach and help each student, regardless of age or phase in life (from granddaughter to grandmother), to grow in the confidence that accompanies growing in knowledge and understanding.

What do we mean by “classical, traditional tutoring”?

From royal heirs to apprentices throughout the centuries, I believe that the one of the best ways for any student to learn is by mirroring their approach through one-on-one mentoring, in which the teacher and student engage in an array of skills from handwriting, reading, writing, to social studies, current events, world politics, and religious studies. We focus on reading and writing, for I firmly believe that reading and writing are the building blocks for any grade, interest, vocation, job, calling, and more. When one can read aloud comfortably, confidence rises. When one can read and comprehend the words they are reading, self-confidence grows. When one can write well and clearly, confidence in generating, sharing, and voicing their ideas is heard by others.
