Answer:

I. Chemistry has its own language such as symbol, equation, ion, valency, atom, element, molecule, reaction and so on. A chemical symbol denotes in short, a particular element or an atom of that element. Chemical reactions are easy to write with chemical symbols than having to write the lengthy chemical names.

Q:difference between organic and inorganic.

Ans:II:Organic compounds are derived from activities of living organisms while inorganic compounds are formed due to natural processes or are made in lab. However Wohler found exceptions to this. Because of the covalency of carbon, organic compounds are unable to make salts while inorganic compounds make salts.

III]Define:

[a]:- Chemistry -the scientific study of the structure of substances and what happens to them in different conditions or when mixed with each other.

[b]:- Agricultural chemistry is the study of chemistry, especially organic chemistry and biochemistry, as they relate to agriculture—agricultural production, the processing of raw products into foods and beverages, and environmental monitoring and remediation.

[c]:- Biochemistry or biological chemistry, is the study of chemical processes within and relating to living organisms. A sub-discipline of both biology and chemistry, biochemistry may be divided into three fields: structural biology, enzymology and metabolism.

[d]:- Analytical chemistry studies and uses instruments and methods used to separate, identify, and quantify matter. In practice, separation, identification or quantification may constitute the entire analysis or be combined with another method. Separation isolates analytes.

[e]:-Medicinal chemistry is a discipline that encloses the design, development, and synthesis of pharmaceutical drugs. ... It is also part of medicinal chemistry the evaluation of the properties of existing drugs. The use of plants, minerals, and animal parts as medicines has been recorded since the most ancient civilizations.

IV:-Antoine Lavoisier determined that oxygen was a key substance in combustion, and he gave the element its name. He developed the modern system of naming chemical substances and has been called the “father of modern chemistry” for his emphasis on careful experimentation.
