Answer:

Q1. Why is ‘Time’ told to think of ‘Sky’ and ‘High’ when he is taken up  to ‘Mount Summit’? What do these words do?

Ans. In the poem, the poet has depicted those words as the instructions given  by the Great grey owl Who to ‘Time’ as motivating him to aim high with open  minded and imaginative thoughts to fly high. The entire poem signifies the  motivating words to the reader to respect and understand the value of time.

Q2. How do you think it is possible that someone or something could be  born before a single human being was born? Do you think that these lines  should be taken metaphorically?

Ans. It’s not at all possible that someone or something could be born before a  single human being was born. Yes, the lines in the poem have been completely  taken metaphorically. The complete poem is a conveying a message to the  readers to understand the value of time and its importance in life.  Everyone has to respect and understand the time value because time can give  the reaction of evil as well as good. If we better understand the time value, then  we can gain experience and develop skills over time. Time can also heal things  whether external wounds or feelings.  The more efficiently we act, the more time we will have leftover for future.  Hence, we should never waste our time and try to make the best use of it.
