1.Explanation: hybridization of methane, the central atom carbon is sp3 hybridized. This is because one 2s orbital and three 2p orbitals in the valence shell of carbon combine to form four sp3 hybrid orbitals which are of equal energy and shape.

2.ClF3 molecular geometry is said to be a T-shaped. It acquires such shape because of the presence of two lone pairs which take up equatorial positions and there are greater repulsions.

3.Benzene has 2 resonance structures but taken individually none show the delocalisation of electrons and they can exist at the same time as electrons are delocalised. The real structure is an intermediate of these structures represented by a resonance hybrid.
