Diameter of the container = 14 cmRadius = 7 cm Height of the container = 20 cm Curved surface area of the container = 2πrh = 2 x 22/7 x 7 x 20 = 880 cm2 Height of the label = 20 - (2 x 2) = 20 - 4 = 16 Area of the label = 2πrh = 2 x 22/7 x 7 x 16 = 704 cm2 Hence, area of the label is 704 cm2.

Solution:---

➡Curved surfacw area of cylinder = 2Πrh

➡the label is too be wrapped around the jar while leaving a space of 2cm upside and 2cm downside

so height of label = 20-4=16cm

Area of Wrapped label = 2Πr(16)

= 2 x 3.14 x 7 x 16

= 2 x 3.14 x 7 x 16

\underline{\colorbox{yellow}{ = 703.36cm}}² [approx ~704]

is the answer
