Answer:

7. 68 cm

8. 18 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

7.       Draw a rhombus  marked A,B,C and D

We know that rhombus diogonal bisiots each other at 90 degree.

h^{2} = b ^{2} + a^{2}\\ = 3^{2} + 4^{2} \\ = 9+8=17\\

17 x 4 = 68

(I seriously don't know is 7th question answer is right or wrong)

8.    We have to find the hypotenuse

       h^{2} =a^{2} + b^{2} \\h^{2} = 8 + 6 \\

   ( 8 x  8 +6 x 6)

      = 64 + 36 \\= 100\\\\h^{2} = \sqrt{100} = 10\\\\

Therefore Original height of the tree is

= 10 + 8= 18 cm
