First of all I would like to apologise for answering this question quite late .

 \tt{\red{Given \: - }}

Total No Of Students = 25..........(1)

According to the problem :

 \tt{ \purple{ \implies{no \: of \:students \: in \:  \: the \: trip  = 80\% \: of \: 25}}} \\  \\  =   >  \dfrac{80}{100}   \times 25 \:  = 20

Hence, 20 students went on the trip.
