in HJI and FJG

angle IHJ=angle GFJ (alt angle)

angle HJI=angle FJG(V. opp angles)

therefore HJI~ FJG

HI/FG=HJ/FJ
HI/12=6/9
HI/12=2/3
3HI=24
HI=8cm
