This is mainly because of the vast killing and poaching of the animals. The population is growing in such a pace that they need more of place for agriculture, settlements, railways, roadways, etc. For this cause the man is destroying the forests. The clearing of these natural resources affects the lives of animals living here who are displaced or are killed. The illegal activities of killing animals is a big reason for the decreasing no. Of some animals like tiger, rhino etc. They sell the body parts of these animals to various. places which earns them big. But to stop this evil act the government came up the many laws and acts which protected these animals and wildlife.

The main reasons for this condition are-
1. Overutilization of forests
2.Hunting by greedy hunters for commercial purposes.
3. Pollution due to chemical and industrial waste
4.Reckless cutting of forests to bring land under cultivation.
5.Deforestation for human habitat.
