Step-by-step explanation:

A=1/16

B=1/22

C=1/24

then

X*((1/16)+(1/22)+(1/24))=1

X*(33+24+22/528)=1

X*(79/528)=1

X=528/79

X=6.68354430

Given,

A man can do in 16 days

His father can do in 22 days

His son can do it in 24 days.

To Find,

If they will work together then time of completion.

Solution,

In 16 days a man can finish this whole work.

Means, in 1 day he works=1/16 work

Then in 22 days his father can finish this work.

That means, in 1 day ,he will do 1/22 work

Then his son in 24 days able to finish it

In 1 day his work is 1/24

So ,if they all will work together,

(1/16)+(1/22)+(1/24) work will be do per day.

Here ,lets take the no of days as x.

So. x ×((1/16)+(1/22)+(1/24))=1

 ⇒x × (33+24+22/528)=1

 ⇒x ×(79/528)=1

 ⇒x = 528/79

 ⇒x =6.68

Hence, they will take 6.68 days to complete this job if they all work together.
