we use section formula that is
R(x,y)= (mx2+nx1/m+n),(my2+ny1/m+n)
R(-2,3)=(3(-6)+4(x)/3+4) , (3(-1)+4(y)/3+4)
(-18+4x/7) , (-4+4y/7)
Now,put value of x equals to -2 and value of y equals to 3
-18+4x/7=-2
-18+4x= -14
4x=-14+18
x=1
-3+4y/7=3
-3+4y=21
4y=24
y=6
so coordinates of P are P(1,6) and value of x is 1 & value of y is 6
