R and r are radii of the bigger and small cylinders respectively.

Similarly L and l are lengths of bigger and smaller cylinders respectively.

Volume of initial cylinder  =2×(Volume of smaller cylinders)

πR2L=2πr2l

2R3=2(21)3 as L=2R

Hence,

The ratio of the radii of two cylinders whose heights is 2:3 . If the volume of the smaller cylinder is 32cm2 . Find the volume of the bigger one.

x2 + 15x + 56

= x2 + 8x + 7x + 56

{56 = 8 x 7, 15 = 8 x 7}

= x(x + 8) + 7(x + 8)

= (x + 8) (x + 7) Ans.
