Area of the figure = area of rectangle BCEF + Area of triangle ABF + area of triangle CDE

area of rectangle BCEF = L×B

= 12×10 = 120 cm²

area of ABF = 1/2 × B × H

base = 10 cm

H = (25-12)/2 = 13/2 cm

1/2 ×10 ×13/2

= 65/2 cm²

similarly, area of ∆CDE = 65/2 cm²

total area = 120 + 65/2 + 65/2

= 120 + 65

= 185 cm²
