13. In the adjoining figure, ABC is a triangle. Through A,

2(AB + BC + CA) = PQ + QR + RP.

Let the salary of Meeta be Rs.x

Money saved by Meeta =Rs.400

Now according to the question,

10% of x=400

10010×x=400

10x=400

⇒x=4000

Hence the salary of Meeta is Rs.4000.

It is given that 

Sum of two rational numbers =12−7 

One of the rational number =2413 

Other rational number =x

2413+x=12−7

x=12−7−2413 

LCM of 12 and 24 is 24 

=12×2−7×2−2413 

By further calculation 

=24−14−2413 

So we get 

=24−14−13 

=24−27 

=8−9
