Here, we will be using the following mathematical formula.

Z =  \sqrt{{R}^{2}  +   {X_{c}}^{2}  }

Here,

Z = Impedance

R = Resistance

X_{c}= capacitive \:  \: treactance

By, putting the available values in the above mentioned mathematical formula, we get :

Z =  \sqrt{ {16}^{2}  +   {12}^{2}  }
