O2 is given in excess so sulphur is limiting reagent,

reaction is S+O2 =SO2

16g S will give ?

so,

32g = 64g

16g = x

cross multiply we get,

32g × x = 64g × 16g

x = (64g × 16g)/32g

x = 16g × 2g

x = 32g

so, 32g of SO2 is produced.
