For two resistors in parellel arrangement resultant resistance is calculated as
R = 2R₁R₂ / (R₁ + R₂)
Given that R = 2 Ω and R₁ = 2R₂
2 = (2 × 2R₂ × R₂) / (2R₂ + R₂)
2 = 4R₂ / 3
R₂ = 1.5 Ω
If R₂ = 1.5 Ω then R₁ = 2 × 1.5 = 3 Ω
Value of R₁ = 3 Ω
R = 2R₁R₂ / (R₁ + R₂)
Given that R = 2 Ω and R₁ = 2R₂
2 = (2 × 2R₂ × R₂) / (2R₂ + R₂)
2 = 4R₂ / 3
R₂ = 1.5 Ω
If R₂ = 1.5 Ω then R₁ = 2 × 1.5 = 3 Ω
Value of R₁ = 3 Ω
