Babur (1526-1530):
It was the great-grandson of Timur Lung and Genghis Khan who was the first Mughal ruler in India. He clashed with the Lodhi dynasty during 1526 and defeated them in the First War of Panipat, thus eventually establishing the Mughal dynasty. Babur ruled till 1530 and after that his son Humayun ascended the throne.
