THE RABBIT AND THE MONKEY. ( Please don't mind, this is a little awkward).
In a dense jungle, where animals fought for their lives, lived two close friends, a rabbit and a monkey. They helped each other in times of distress and enjoyed each others company.
One morning, the rabbit and the monkey were discussing the ordinary matters of the jungle. Little did they know that this conversation would change their friendship. A trifle fight broke out between the two and the rabbit left for his home in sheer anger.
As he walking, he could feel someone following in close pursuit. He thought it was the money begging for forgiveness. He continued to ignore it but was soon filled with terror upon realizing that it was a tiger.( I don't know if tigers eat rabbits; please replace it with some other animal)
He hopped and fastened his pace; scared that he'd lose his life. Just then, he heard a loud crash. It was the monkey along with his mates who had come to his rescue. The tiger, seeing such a large number of monkeys, ran away from them; thereby sparing the rabbit's life.
The rabbit thanked the monkey profusely and promised never to fight with him again. The monkey also swore never to hurt him. The day saw two friends coming closer than they were the day before; and this friendship lasted till both of them breathed their last breath.

You can cut short the story. I thought it was for some story writing stuff for exams, so made it long.
