The production of large quantities of saliva and tear drops coupled by inability to speak or swallow during the later stage of the disease, rabies can result in hydrophobia, where the victim has difficulty in swallowing as the throat and jaw become slowly paralysed and can't quench his thirst. And this creates a fear of water , so it is a hydrophobic disease

Yes! Because when a person is affected with rabies, he develops hydrophobia or the fear of water.
