Answer:
Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941), also known as Gurudev, conquered the field of literature with his numerous forms of poems, stories, dramas and songs. Till this day, his contribution is deeply rooted in India and abroad.
Other than working towards his evergreen legacy, he brought about many changes in the society. While managing his family estates, he came closer to humanity, and explored his interest in social reforms. He then tried to implement his Upanishadic ideals to education and started an experimental school at Shantiniketan.
