But.

Tagore, in his own lifetime, DID NOT give up on the Nobel.

Ever.

However, we, the common people have given up the hope to retrieve the original Nobel that was stolen from Shantiniketan, and knowing how poorly the Indian Police took the initiative to go for a thorough investigation, I don't think that we'll be able to retrieve it.
