Rachana observe the colour of the sky as blue around 9.am and at around 4-30 pm the colour of sky changes to red /orange what is the reason for her observation

during the morming time, the sun is not overhead but it is oblique...so the light rays have to travel a longer distance. in that light ray the blue colour is the most scattered so thats why the sky appears blue in colour.

during afternoon-evening time, the sun is overhead, so the light rays have to travel less distance... and the blue light is not much scattered and we can the red light of the visible spectrum
