Rachit took 4 hours to complete the last 1/4 part of a journey at an average speed of 55 km/hr. His average speed for the whole journey is 60 km/hr. How long will it take to cover the first 3/4 part of the journey?​

Then , 4 * 55 = 1/4 * x

Now average speed of total journey = 60 km/hr.

Then, t * 60 = x

4 * 55 = 1/4 * t * 60

t = 4 * 55/15 hr.

The time for first 3/4 th of the journey = 4 * 55/15 - 4 = (220 - 60)/15 = 160/15 = 10.66 hrs.
