(a)  initial velocity (u)=0,v=144 km/hr = 40m/s  t=20sec

v=u+at ⇒ 40 = a(20) = a = 2

acceleration = 2

(b) v^2 = v^2 + 2as

⇒ 40 × 40 = 2 × 2 × 5

⇒ Distance = 400m
