No What's the effect of eating expired biscuit?

How do I get rid of disease-causing mosquitoes in the monsoon?

The monsoon has arrived. Thus, it may also bring Dengue and Malaria. Here are 5 steps to follow every day to keep mosquitoes away

Likely nothing, unless the biscuit was visibly spoiled, moldy or odorous. Many people (very very sad, actually) don't realize that breads, canned foods, produce, medicines, etc…can actually still be safely edible or consumable anywhere from a few days (meats, veggies, milk, etc), to weeks or longer (breads, medicines, canned goods) past the “good by”, “best buy”, or “sell by” date. Also, many fruits and veggies with “bad” spots are perfectly edible upon cutting or moving the bad portion. In the US, we waste millions, maybe even billions, on perfectly good food that is trashed for these reasons.

“Expired” isn’t necessarily a reason to dispose of them. If past expiration it’s an indication that the food is old, but if not excessively beyond “good until” date, spoilage (or lack thereof) can be determined by the age-old “sniff test.” Storage in cool, dry places can extend many foodstuffs’ longevity. I usually try to use biscuits & dry foods before expiration & will throw them out if there’s any doubt.

I have heard that rancid biscuits & dry foods can be carcinogenic, but can only attest to such foods causing me gastric upset; the burned hand (or stomach) teaches best. We live in a world where it’s easy & simple to replace any food which is doubtful, and, when purchasing, it’s also important to check dates on the packaging, to maximize shelf life at home.
