Meera's one day's work = 1/x

Radha's one day's work = 1/16

Meera and Shashi together can do in 12 days.

So, Shashi's one day's work = 1/12 - 1/x

(x-12)/12x

So, Shashi's one day's work = (x-12)/12x

ATQ -

1/16 + (x - 12)/12x = 1/8

(x-12)/12x = 1/8 - 1/16

(x-12)/12x = 2-1/16

(x-12)/12x = 1/16

16(x-12) = 12x

16x - 192 = 12x

16x - 12x = 192

4x = 192

x = 192/4

x = 48

So, meera takes 48 days to do the work alone.
