∴ Interest = Amount - Principal

Therefore, comparing these two, we will find time. Putting the values and doing the requisite calculations.

∴ Amount - Principal = (Principal × Rate × Time)/100

➛ 5200 - 4000 = (4000 × 6 × T)/100

➛ 1200 = 240 × T

➛ T = 1200/240
