Radha had a box of cookies. She gave 30% of the
cookies to her friend. She ate 25% of the cookies. If
there are 27 cookies left in the box, how many cookies
were there in the box initially?​

Let total number of cookies be X

Percentage of cookies left = 100% –( 30% + 25% )

= 100% –55%

= 45%

According to question 45% of x = 27

45/100 x = 27

X = 27 x 100/45

X = 2700/45

X = 60

Therefore total amount of cookies in the box initially 60 .
