Radha is 22 years younger than her father . After 7 years their age will be in the ratio 4:5. Find their present age.

Solution:-
Let the present age of Radha be x.
Then the present age of her father is x+22.
After 7 yrs their age will be
Radha = x+7
Her father = x+22+7
= x+29
A/Q
x+7÷x+29 = 4:5
5(x+7) = 4(x+29)
5x+35 = 4x+116
5x-4x = 116-35
x = 81
Therefore
Present age of Radha is x = 81 yrs. Ans
Present age of Her father is x+22 = 81+22
= 103. Ans
