Let the answer is x..so
4+x= 2(40+x)
or, 4+x= 80+2x
or, x= 76
so, in 76 years Radha will be twice as old as Sindhu...and then her age would be 80.

Radha's current age = 40 yrs

Sindhu's current age = 4 yrs

Let the required years be x.

Radha's age after x years = 40+x

Sindhu's age after x years = 2(x+4)

therefore, 40 + x = 2(x + 4)

or, 40 + x = 2x + 8

or, 2x - x = 40 - 8

or, x = 32

Hence, Radha's age after 32 years = 40 + 32 = 72

And, Sindhu's age after 32 years = 4 + 32 = 36
