Radha went to a bank to withdraw3000thousand rupees .she asked to cashier to give her 50 and 100ruppe note only.if Radha got 42 notes in all .then how many note of 50 and how many note of 100 she have?

Let no of 50 notes be x
And 100 notes be y
X+y=42.....................................1
50x+100y=3000(divide whole Eq by 50)
X+2y=60...................................2
From 1&2
-y=-18
Y=18..........sub in 1
X=24
