Radharaman is a farmer. He always alternates two wheat crops with a leguminous crop. why?

Because the root of the leguminous plant help to provide nutrition to soil such as nitrogen ,iron etc..

As a farmer, Radharaman always alternates a leguminous crop with the two wheat crops. This is because, leguminous crops have certain beneficial bacteria in their root nodules that can fix atmospheric nitrogen into the soil in a soluble form. This in turn enriches the soil with nutrients and replenishes the soil which had a deficit in nutrients that was used up by the other cultivated plants. This is why the farmer favours crop rotation, by alternating two wheat crops with a leguminous crop.
