Step-by-step explanation:

steps of construction

Draw a line segment 4 cm.

Take a point p outside the circle and draw a secant PAB,intersecting the circle at A and B.

produce AP to C such that AP=CP

Draw a semicircle with CB as diameter .

Draw PD perpendicular TO CB,intersecting the semi circle at D.

with P as centre and PD as radius draw arcs to intersect the given circle at T and M.

Join PT and PM.

Then PT and PM are the required tangents.

Hope it helps you

OK WAIT ANSWERING .............

steps of constructions ....

1) draw a circle of radius 4 cm

2) draw three chords as shown in figure..

3) now make perpendicular bisector of two chords be ( AB AND AC )

4) let them interest and Mark the point O ( at the point of intersection)

now point O will be ur center..( CONCEPT OF CIRCUME CIRCLE)

NOW WE KNOW THE CENTR.........

5)NOW MAKE A POINT OUT SIDE OF A CIRCLE FROM POINT O TO THE CIRCLE ( BE OP )

6). NOW MAKE PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR OF OP...

7) after making PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR taking the point M on line OP ( such OM= MP)

DRAW A CIRCLE ......( RADIUS = OM)

8) now after making circle draw to tangents at the circumference of other circle and Mark the points F and E.....

9) FP and EB are the REQUIRED tangent..

Diagram rough hai but dekh lena. .....

sunn pic net sai nikali hai sorry late k liye ACTUALLY Mai Khana khane laga gya tha.....

sorry
