she made profit of rs25.50

total price of a dozen (12)pens=12×5
=60rs

total price of 6 pens sold for rs 7.50=6×7.50
=45rs

total price of remaining 6 penssold for rs6.75=6×6.75
=40.50rs

total SP of 12 pens=40.50+45
=85.50

profit=sp-cp
= 85.50-60
=25.50

Answer:

if I pen cost is rs.5, dozen pens cost = 12 multiply by 5= rs 60.

step by step explain -

1 pen sold for Rs 7.50.

6 pens sold = 6 multiply 7.50=rs45

price of remaining 6 pens sold for rs 6.75

=6 ✖ 6.75=40.50 rs.

Sp of 12 pens = 40.50+45=85.50.

Profit = sp-cp=85.50-60=25.50

so, He profit $25.50.
