Given: C.P. of the computer = Rs. 33,880

Amount spent on repairs = 6% of 33,880

           S.P. of the computer = Rs. 35,880

To find: Loss percentage

Solution: According to the given question,

C.P. (Cost Price) of the computer = Rs. 33,880

Cost incurred on repairs = 6% of 33,880

                         = \frac{6}{100} × 33,880

                         = Rs. 2,032.8

Total C.P. of the computer = Amount paid + amount spent on repairs

                                            = Rs. 33,880 + Rs. 2,032.8

                                            = Rs. 35,912.8

S.P. (Selling Price) of the computer = Rs. 35,880

.: Loss = C.P. - S.P.

           = Rs. 35,912.8 - Rs. 35,880

           = Rs. 32.8

.: Loss percentage = \frac{Loss}{Cost Price} × 100

                               = \frac{32.8}{35,912.8} × 100

                                = 0.09133 % (approx)
