'Bread and Jam' is NEVER a healthy diet, it is not good even for breakfast. Bread is actually a simple carbohydrate and for your breakfast you must have some protein, so that you do not crave for foods after your breakfast. What happens is that when we consume simple carbs, it instantly spikes up our blood sugar level and it also crash down instantly, which leads us to crave for food even after having breakfast. I am not saying that we should not have carbs for breakfast or any other meal, but try to have the carbs which have low glycemic index. There're many websites available with recipe for good dietary lunch.
