Radhika's father is thrice as old as radhika . After 18 years , his age will be twice that of his daughter . Find the present age of her father.

Let Radhika's age be x years.

A/Q

Radhika's father's age = 3x

After 18 years,

Radhika's age = x+18

Father's age =3x+18

But A/Q

Father's age =2×(x+18)

So,

3x+18=2(x+18)

3x+18=2x+36

3x-2x=36-18

x=18

So, Radhika's age =18 Years

Father's age =3×18

= 54 years

Given : Radhika's Father is Thrice as old as Radhika

⇒ Age of Radhika's Father will be : 3R

After 18 Years :

Age of Radhika will be : R + 18

Age of Radhika's Father will be : 3R + 18

Given : After 18 Years Radhika's Father will be Twice that of his Daughter

⇒ 3R + 18 = 2(R + 18)

⇒ 3R + 18 = 2R + 36

⇒ R = 18

⇒ The Present Age of Radhika's Father : 3R = (3 × 18) = 54
