Total Expenditure %=5+14+3+40=62%

⇒ The percentage of balance left =100−62=38%

⇒ As per question, 38% of salary is equal to 19000

∴ Total Salary = 100

38x=19000

⇒38x=1900000

x=50,000

So the income of that man was Rs.50,000 that month.
