• It is used by archeologist to find the dating of bones with the help of carbon (C-14) dating method.

• It is used to produce energy in nuclear power plants.

Disadvantages of Radioactive elements.

• They are harmful for organism because they radiate harmful radiation which causes skin cancer.

• The radioactive elements are used to produced nuclear weapons which is harmful and can leads to mass destruction.
