FOR DIFFRACTION TO TAKE PLACE ,THE SIZE OF THE OBSTACLE SHOULD BE OF THE ORDER OF WAVELENGTH .
RADIO WAVES HAVE WAVELENGTH OF A FEW METRE AND HENCE COMPARABLE TO THE SIZE OF THE WALLS .
HENCE RADIO WAVES DIFFRACT MORE PROUNCEDLY.
