Hello dear

Total surface area of cylinder is given by 3080 square centimetres .

Step by Step explaination :

If the the height of cylinder is h , then the radius of the cylinder is

r = 2/3 h

Volume of the cylinder

V = π r 2

12936 = 22/7 (2/3h)2

h3 = 9261

h = 21 cm

The radius is

r = 2/3(21)

r = 14cm

Total surface area of cylinder is given by

A = 2πrh = 2πr2

A = 2 . 22/7 . 14 . 21 +2 . 22/7 . ( 14 )2

A = 3080 cm 2 .

OR

Let radius = 2 x

Height = 3 x

Volume = π r 2 h

12936 = 22/7 ( 2 x ) 2 × 3 x

12936 = 22/7 × 4x 2 × 3x

12936 × 7/22 × 1/12 = x3

x = 7 , so radius = 14 cm and height = 21 cm

TSA = 2π r ( rth )

2×22/7×14×(14+21)

2×22/7 ×14×35

3080 cm 2
