Hey there !

Solution:

The length of the longest chord of a circle joining both the extreme ends inside a circle is called as the Diameter of a circle and is denoted by the letter " d "

The measure of the point on the boundary of a circle from the center point is called as the radius and is denoted by the letter " r "

Diameter is the longest chord, hence it must be passing through the center. So we can say that,

Diameter ( d ) = 2 × Radius

Hence Radius = ( Diameter / 2 ) or half of the diameter.

Hope my answer helped !
