radius of a circle with centre p is 5cm. if the point q is such that segment pq is 6cm where does the point q lie?

The point q will lie outside the circle since p is the centre,if q lies inside then it should have become the radius,that is of 5cm .

Since pq is greater than radius,q lies outside the circle.
