Radius of a cone is 7 cm and its height is 24cm, find its surface area?​

Given: R = 7cm,

H = 24cm

➞ l² = r²+h²

➞ l² = 7²+24²

➞ l² = 49+576

➞ l² = 625

➞ l = √625

➞ l = 25

CSA of cone = 22/7×7×25

                    ➞22×25

                    ➞ 550

∴The CSA of cone is 550 cm²

TO FIND:

The surface area of the cone.

SOLUTION

 \bold{ \implies3.14 \times 7 (r + \sqrt{ {24}^{2} +  {7}^{2}  }) } \\  \bold{ \implies 21.9(7 +   \sqrt{576 + 49})  } \\  \bold{ \implies 21.9(7 + 25.5)} \\  \bold{\implies 21.9(32.5)} \\ \bold{  \implies 558.4}

Therefore, the surface area of the cone = 558.8 cm².
