Proof :
We know that,
Area of sector = Ф / 360° * πr²
Here Ф = 30°, r = 7 cm, π = 22 / 7
Substituting them in the formula we get,
= Area of sector = 30° / 360° * 22 / 7 * 7 * 7
=> Area of sector = 1 / 12 * 22 * 7
=> Area of sector = 154 / 12
=> Area of sector = 12.83 cm²
