288 such cylinders can be cut

Radius(r)=4.2 cm

Height(h)=16 cm

Volume= πr^2h=22/7*4.2*4.2*16 cm^3

=22*42*42*16/7*10*10cm^3

radius of the cylinders to be cut=1.4/2cm=0.7cm

height=0.2cm

Volume of the cylinders to be cut=π*0.7*0.7*0.2cm^3

=22*7*7*2/7*10*10*10 cm^3

No. of such cylinders that can be cut from the given cylinder=(22*42*42*16/7*10*10)/(22*7*7*2/7*10*10*10)=6*6*8=288
